Water Governance refers to the political, social, economic, legislative and administrative systems in place that influence the use and management of water. CBSS will be presenting our popular three-day Training Course on Water Governance in South Africa from 12 – 14 May 2026, in Durban, KZN Province.
The Course addresses the international context of Water Governance, and explores the South African legislative framework, as well as institutional, financial, and regulatory arrangements for the governance of water. It is presented in association with the Water Institute of South Africa (WISA).
An Assessment will be conducted of delegates’ level of learning during the course, and a Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to successful learners upon conclusion of the course, which can be used to claim THREE (3) CPD-points from WISA, SACNASP and ECSA.
Successful completion of this Course is a prerequisite to register for the Masterclass Course on Water Use License application (WULA) processes, practice, eWULAAS, and the preparation of integrated water and waste management plans (IWWMPs).
