11 – 12 November 2025 The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA)’s KwaZulu-Natal Branch will be hosting a Virtual Waste Legislation Training Course that will be held over two mornings.
Time: 09:00 – 12:00 on both days.
The aim of the course is to introduce those attending to legal concepts, institutional arrangements and waste management principles.
The programme provides comprehensive coverage of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 and subordinate legislation, international conventions and other legislation applicable to the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. It is IWMSA recognised and is lectured by a facilitator with years of experience in the waste industry.

Purpose of The Course
