DESCRIPTION:GRI certified course on Completing the Picture: Climate Reporting with GRI and IFRS Standards\n(2 GRI CEUs) \nWhy does Climate Reporting matter? \nWhy does climate reporting matter? How can you respond to the growing national and global demand for transparency around climate-related impacts? What constitutes robust climate reporting – from tracking emissions to developing transition and adaptation plans\, all while considering the effects on people through the process? \nThese are some of the questions addressed in the GRI course – Completing the Picture: Climate Reporting with GRI and IFRS Standards. With a variety of reporting instruments available\, this course focusses on the two instruments that can best support an organisation’s comprehensive climate management and reporting journey: the GRI Standards and the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. \nThis course is designed for practitioners and organisations who are beginning their climate journey and want to\, or are required to\, report on climate issues. Other stakeholders interested in climate reporting\, such as academics. Investors\, government representatives and civil society\, might find this course useful.
